Can I order from the UK?

Due to new restrictions on international shipments entering the UK, I have had to suspend UK ordering in the online store. To send into the UK, my orders must come through a marketplace, in this case, Etsy. To place an order from the UK, head to Mandrake of the Month Club on Etsy. If what you're looking for isn't listed, send me a message through Etsy with your wishlist. I will then send back a purchase link. 

Can I order from Europe?

Of course! To order from Europe, you can use either the online store or Etsy. Ordering through Etsy is probably the better option, as they will calculate your VAT into your purchase and you will not have to pay it when your order arrives in the destination country. Rules vary from country to country, so please make sure you check with your local postal services to find out if you will be responsible for any other clearance fees or taxes upon delivery. When ordering though the online store, you do NOT pre-pay any taxes at all and you WILL have to pay them to your delivery provider to receive your order. The receiver is solely responsible for paying any of these fees, and Mandrake of the Month Club cannot issue any refunds for orders that are unclaimed due to unpaid fees or taxes.

Will Covid-19 affect my subscription?

Mandrake of the Month Club Is lucky in that it isn't expecting any delays in packing or shipping the upcoming monthly box. Regular Store orders are being shipped less frequently- Australian orders dispatch once a week or so. Due to the effect the pandemic has had on transit lines around the world, International Shipments are only dispatching once or twice a month at most. Unfortunately, shipping delays will be unavoidable once your box is picked up by the courier. DHL is currently advising that international shipments from Australia may take up to 10 weeks to arrive at their destination. All shipping options will take longer than usual quoted time frames. If your shipping options have an Express option listed, it will be the quickest way to receive your order, although it WILL NOT arrive within the quoted transit time.

There are also frequently changing lists of which countries are not accepting international shipments. If you're worried this might apply to you, you can check with your local postal service for the current status and let me know- I am happy to hold your box for you until it can be sent. If you order and I notice that you are on a list of countries with known issues, no biggy! I will get in touch with your options at shipping time. 

For Domestic orders, Australia Post is experiencing significant delays and are currently not guaranteeing Express Delivery time frames. The situation can change quite fast- I post updates on Instagram if any new info becomes available.

Adding tracking to your order is highly recommended at this time.

Why is there no untracked shipping option to the USA anymore?

Due to price rises within the international postal networks, sending your order to the USA with the untracked shipping option now costs the same as the fastest option available to me (Tracked Expedited). For that reason there is no point in me even offering the untracked option anymore, so you will find there is only one option at checkout now. This new option allows for larger orders to ship for the same price, so I have also added an option at checkout to combine your order. The "Combine into my existing/subscription order" option can be used:

1. When you have recently placed an order that is yet to ship (eg. it includes items that are handmade or pre-orders, etc) you can use this option to add additional items into the same shipment. 

or 2. For existing subscribers who would like to place an order that will be held and ship with their next monthly box.

The shipping at checkout will calculate based on the weight of the extra items you're ordering and may not add any extra cost at all, depending on what you order. Hopefully this keeps ordering from the US accessible and affordable. Please note that this option can ONLY be used to combine into orders that include the full USA shipping price. If you order with this option and you do not have an existing order where you payed the full shipping fee, the order will be held until your next purchase that includes full priced shipping. 

What is a Mandrake?

A Mandrake (Mandragora Officinarum) is a plant with significance in myth and folklore that is said to have roots shaped in the form of a human. It is commonly depicted in folklore, literature and mythology as having magical or poisonous properties. 

What is Mandrake of the Month?

Mandrake of the Month Club is an Australia-based subscription service that will deliver you a Mandrake themed package once a month, or as a one off purchase if you prefer.  Every month features a Mandrake in a different theme or scenario designed for ultimate cuteness. Each package contains a matching hard enamel pin, sticker sheet, and a mystery item in adorable packaging that will put a smile on your face when it arrives in your mailbox.

How does subscribing work?

If you want to never miss a Mandrake, then subscribing is the answer! You will be automatically charged every month and then your Mandrake will be delivered to put a smile on your dial (but not the Mandrake's dial- they're grumpy).

How do monthly Add-Ons work? 

Monthly Add-Ons are an optional extra that you can combine into your monthly Mandrake of the Month Club shipment. Existing subscribers or those purchasing a subscription can order an Add-On, and it will add to their monthly charge and ship simultaneously without incurring any shipping fees. Add-Ons can be individually skipped or cancelled at any time. 

Which shipping option do I select for my Add-On?

It literally doesn't matter! If you order it on its own, it will show $0.00 shipping. You can choose any $0.00 option as the item/s will just be combined into your existing shipments and will not effect the shipping option that is active on your subscription. If you order an Add-On in the same transaction as other items that DO incur shipping fees, simply choose whichever option you want those items to ship via. 

Can I just order one Mandrake Month?

Of course! On the product page, you can choose to subscribe or make a one-off purchase- although subscribing is a little cheaper. One-off purchases are great for seeing if you like it- you can always come back and subscribe the next month if you discover you cannot live without monthly Mandrakes.

Will they sell out?

That's definitely possible! Numbers are limited, so as Mandrake of the Month Club is only new, it is impossible to predict how quickly they will run out. If a month is sold out, there will be another chance to subscribe or purchase the following month.

Do you ship internationally?

We do! International shipping is very affordable and ships through DHL eCommerce, which ends up being delivered to you by your local postal service. 

How long does shipping take?

Shipping within Australia can be as fast as 1 business day, and international shipping ranges from 1-2 weeks up to 6 weeks for some regions. All Australian shipping options are with Australia Post and generally will not take more than 2 weeks. International shipping time frames are listed on the options at checkout. Please refer to the top of this page for the most recent updates on shipping delays.

Can I skip a month or cancel my subscription?

Yes! To skip a month or cancel your subscription completely, simply log into your Mandrake of the Month Club account and follow the options to cancel or check the Delivery Schedule to skip a month.

When do I get charged for the next month?

All subscription payments are charged on the 1st of every month, excluding the first month immediately following your sign up date. That payment is skipped, as you already paid it when you signed up. Your subscription will then automatically renew on the 1st of every month following unless you skip a month or cancel. Make sure your email is correct at sign up so you can receive all Subscription reminders and confirmations.

When does Mandrake of the Month ship?

Mandrake of the Month Club subscriptions ship within the first 2 weeks of every month. 

Can I suggest a Mandrake?

Of course! We have a never-ending list of possible Mandrakes and it grows every day. If you have an idea that you want to see as a Mandrake, send it through to hello@mandrakeofthemonthclub.com.au and we will add it to the list of possibilities!

Can I change my shipping address?

Yep that's easy! Your address, payment method and subscription can all be managed from within the "My Account" section. Changing your  default address on the main page of your account does NOT automatically update your subscription address- you will also need to change it in the "Subscriptions" section of your account.

Will I get a tracking number when my Mandrake ships?

There are both untracked and tracked shipping options. Once your Mandrake of the Month ships, you will receive a shipping notification and your account will list it as fulfilled. If you chose the Tracked shipping option, you will also receive an email directly from the carrier (Australia Post for domestic orders, DHL eCommerce for international) with a link to your tracking. For international orders, once your package has arrived in your country it will be taken over by your local postal service. You can use the same tracking number to track it through them for more detailed scans once in country.

My Mandrake hasn't arrived, can you help?

Yes! If the estimated delivery time has lapsed, please send us an email to hello@mandrakeofthemonthclub.com.au and we will look into it for you! Please include the name and email address used to purchase so we can identify your order.

Do you have any discounts?

Often there are discount codes floating around, mostly being promoted on Instagram. These are called Rep codes and are valid on any full priced items shipped by MoTM. This means that the codes will not be valid on sale items, subscription items, Print Shop Items, or bundles. For other sale events, follow on instagram or sign up to the mailing list so you don't miss out! Mandrake of the Month Club retains the right to alter or de-activate rep codes at any time.

What is the Print Shop?

The Print Shop is where you can order professionally printed items with the design of your choice to be made especially for you. You still order them through the MoTM website, but the products are made, printed, and shipped to you direct from the manufacturer. This means that your order will not pass through my hands before you receive it, so if you have an issue please don't hesitate to reach out! 

Can I order from the Print Shop and the regular online store in the same transaction?

You can but please don't. To keep things simple, it is best if you make separate orders for you online store purchases that I will ship to you, and then another order for print shop items that will ship to you from the manufacturer. This will avoid any possible errors. It will not cost you anything extra in shipping- it would calculate to the same shipping total regardless. 

 How long do Print Shop orders take?

Print Shop orders can take anywhere from 3 weeks to 8 weeks, but with the current pandemic continuing to affect international manufacturing and shipping, please expect delays. Once you have placed your order and your payment has processed (this can take a couple of days depending on your method of payment), your order is confirmed with the manufacturer for printing. The printing process is usually completed within a week or so (depending on the chosen product) and will then dispatch directly to you from the manufacturer.
